We have been running Creative Health Marketplaces across Wales for almost 2 years. The events play a vital role in helping to grow the Social Prescribing networks and referral pathways between arts, health and the third sector, in an equitable way across the country.
This, of course, is in line with Welsh Government Framework for Social Prescribing, which acknowledges the arts and creativity as an essential social activity to support people’s health and wellbeing.
- Attending a Marketplace can help you to:
- Find out more about what is available in your local area.
- Hear about funding opportunities for arts and health partnerships.
- Share your work with other colleagues.
- Meet artists, health professionals and colleagues from the third sector in your area.
- Develop better signposting and referral pathways for your clients and patients.
At the Carmarthen event you will also hear from:
- Arts Care/Gofal Celf and activities supported by the Nurture Centre.
